This will download a file called CitrixReceiverWeb.dmg to your workstation. Once downloaded, launch the CitrixReceiverWeb.dmg file from the folder location or from your browser bar (as shown in example below) if it appears. In the next window, double-click Install Citrix Receiver.pkg. Once the software is finished downloading, the Citrix Receiver set-up will begin. Click Install STEP 5: Citrix will install. This may take a few minutes. Once complete the Installing window will close automatically. It will not notify you that the installation is complete. Access from work locations
The SoftServ Employee Self-Service portal can be accessed via a web browser at softserv.augusta.edu from any of the following Augusta University locations:
- Augusta campuses
- Medical Partnership campus in Athens
- GCHC sites throughout the state
- Other Georgia locations connected to the AU network
Access from other locations, including home
To access SoftServ from home, you must have an adequate computer and Internet connectivity. Access from home is available via Citrix, software designed to secure delivery of applications and data. To install and configure Citrix, refer to the windows or mac instructions.
